WiseStamp: Great Email Signatures for Web-Based Accounts

Months ago, before I switched to my now beloved iMac, I had a snazzy email signature that I’d created for myself with HTML. One of my clients (who uses gMail) asked me if I’d create a fancy email signature for her, too. But, the way I did mine is not the way gMail likes to do things.

In fact, on my own gMail account, I don’t think I even bother with a signature file. (Of course, that’s probably more about the fact that I don’t use my gMail account for business-related email, than anything. But, I digress…)

All this time since, it’s stuck in the back of my mind that it’s just a royal pain in the patootey to make a rockin’ awesome signature for some of the web-based email services. And, if you’ve known me long, you know when something bugs me like that, I eventually will find some kind of solution for it…just because.

I’m happy to report I’ve found (or, rather, the Universe has been showing me about a bazillion times over the last month and I’ve just now noticed) a solution to the email signature situation for web-based email including gMail, Yahoo! mail, Windows Live mail and AOL mail: WiseStamp.

It’s no surprise that Patsi Krakoff would be the one putting WiseStamp in front of me cuz she’s a smart cookie. We’ve exchanged a ton of email before, during and since the call we did together last month, and she uses WiseStamp. Check out her email signature:

I must have seen this thing hundreds of times, but today I saw that last line…and clicked through and immediately realized – hey! Here’s the solution for my other client who uses gMail. Instead of just emailing her, I thought I’d let you all know about it, in case any of the rest of you were scratchin’ your head over this one.

Hey, Suzanne, thanks! I think the best thing about “Wisestamp” service is that it feeds your latest blog post right there into your email signature. How cool is that! You can also link to all your social sites, and once you set it, you forget it. Lot to love…
